Bernie’s knowledge of the local area, its history and natural history is extensive and he has successfully run Natural history, Photographic and History tours for the past 20 years, and is very happy to guide our guests to the best of the area, including some of the most productive fly fishing locations.This area of the highlands has a unique variety of habitats all in a relatively small area. Species such as the Osprey fly here from West Africa to rear their young and we are always on the lookout for Golden Eagles and other birds of prey and others such as Dotterel on the hill, Crestie’s in the Caledonian Pine Forrest and Slavonian Grebe on small lochans.
